Spring Fantasy Renaissance Bridal Gown

This Elizabethan-inspired wedding gown is crafted of cream brocade and cream satin woven with a metallic gold luster.  The brocade overskirt is folded back to display satin revers trimmed in metallic gold, and the satin underskirt is appliqued with golden embroidered swirl motifs.  The fully lined and boned bodice is trimmed in gold to match the skirt and its front panel is quilted in gold thread and embroidered with a golden-yellow rose.   All embroidery patterns were custom-designed for this gown.  The gown is loosely belted with a length of wired silk ribbon supporting a quantity of new green ribbon leaves and a few yellow ribbon roses.  The removable pleated train is lined in satin and attached to the shoulders by golden rose buttons.   It is ornamented by another length of spring leaves on bronze ribbon.  All ribbon leaves and flowers are handmade.  The headpiece is a French hood of matching brocade and satin, trimmed in gold piping and accented by a ribbon rose and leaves, with a two-tier veil attached.   The cost of this gown and headpiece is approximately $4700 plus materials.
