In shades of sapphire, this is a gown for evening romance (1880's style).  Royal blue satin and lilac-blue chiffon drape over a periwinkle skirt worn over a bustle.  Venise lace dyed pale blue-violet trims the hem of the skirt.  The square neckline of the bodice is softened by a drape of chiffon and a pleated swathe of blue tulle over the shoulders, accented by an ombre ribbon rose and rosebud in shades of hot pink, purple and grape.   Another rose accents the waistline.  The gown as shown, approximately $2900 plus materials.
